Excellent place for rediscovering and rejuvenating myself amongst the lush green and serene nature. The host was very warm and welcoming and the lunch was scrumptious and filling. Hope to come here again either in full moon , or in winter when all the fields are full of yellow mustard flowers or at the time of Kash phool and Durga Puja .

Nestled into the greenery of the little village of Mirzapur, about 6kms from Bolpur Railway Station, is The Farmhouse, owned and managed by Soumya, Adrita and their little family of staff members and four legged children. It took us around about 20mins to reach the place from Bolpur station by toto. The pick up was arranged by Soumya only. On reaching the place, we found it to do complete justice to all the good reviews we had read about it. The clean little pond surrounded by the many trees, the visiting migratory birds and their sweet melody, the ever smiling hosts and their extremely polite staff, the adorable dog family they own,everything was just perfect. The room was very spacious and had all the necessary features. The food was excellent too, as well as the eating area. The entire place is done up with great taste. The menu offered a nice spread of breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner, all of which were very tasty and the price also, reasonable. The garden had swings and hammocks and the wind chimes tied to the trees just made the sweetest of music when the breeze set in. The place had us completely under its spell and surely we'd be going back there whenever we're in Bolpur. If you are also looking for a detox from the busy city life, this is the place. Do visit and treat yourself to a soothing and fulfilling stay amidst Nature at her purest. A 10 on 10 from our end.
