After a long walk around Bundi Palace, come to The Castle View Homestay and have a rest here. It's easy to find this place due to its convenient location. The terrific staff welcomes people all year round. Prompt service is something that guests highlight in their comments. Many visitors find that the decor is fancy. We are a couple from Belgium and stayed here for 2 nights. We had a kind welcome, nice clean room, and very good homemade diner with castle view. The host is very nice and helps out with things like arranging taxis, 10/10 stay, in a very calm and nice city! Service: 5

This cosy homestay offers some of the best views over Garh Palace from the rooftop restaurant. It is nestled within the old part of town and close to many interesting attractions. The home cooked dinner (you need to pre-order) and breakfast were delicious. We had booked a deluxe double room with balcony which, when compared with other accommodation we have booked in Rajasthan, was more expensive for what we got. To have a balcony cost us extra, but was unusable due to monkeys in the area. Also, the room was smaller than the pictures show, bed was short and at 163cm I could not lie out flat without hitting the end of the bed. There was also unfinished electrical work in the room. On the plus side, the rooms were very clean, air con was good and the decor beautiful. When paying, we were charged an additional 3% to use a credit card. The hotel also claims to have on-site parking which it does not. You have to park around 100m away and walk the final bit up the path. The staff assisted with bags but I think they should state this on their site up front. Service: 4

I just spent four nights at the Castle View Homestay and, as others have noted, I too wish I could have stayed longer. Nanu and his parents are wonderful hosts: welcoming, warm, friendly, and generous with their time. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and furnished with real consideration for decor. The food: delicious! The view: spectacular! Service: 5
