Review for The Byke Old Anchor Beach Resort & SPA, Goa I recently stayed at this hotel and, unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. Here are some of the issues I faced during my stay: The welcome at the hotel was not warm at all. Instead of greeting guests properly, the first thing they say is, “Leave your bags outside.” I’ve never seen any good hotel treat guests like this. There is no Wi-Fi in the rooms, which is quite inconvenient, especially in today’s time. The food was extremely disappointing – bland and tasteless. Definitely not worth the price. The air conditioning in the room did not work properly, making it uncomfortable to stay inside. The TV wasn’t working either – another basic facility missing. You are not allowed to bring anything from outside, which is quite unreasonable. If you still want to visit, go ahead – but don’t say I didn’t warn you!
