I was in Goa with my lil kid, saajan restaurant people were really helpful and so kind that they made customized parantha for us even 6 am in the morning, very nice and hygenic people

Excellent place, Mr. Satyago is a wonderful person. He is a chef and will make sure you have a wonder experience each time you visit. I even got him to pack some Goan fish curry and brought it back to HYD on my return.

Overall, tasty food. The cosmopolitan cocktail was the best tasting cocktail I tried in Goa! Try the masala papads/popadoms and the onion bhaji. Saajan loses 1 star as the vegetable jalfrezi did not taste to a good standard and the spices were not blended well. Having mentioned this to the waiter and also saying that I will not be eating the veg jalfrezi and that I do not want to pay for that dish, he looked at me with the most awful face and said “We never get any complaints about our Indian food.” I found this particular waiter unhelpful, patronising and that we had done something incredibly wrong? After trying to talk us into paying for the dish, he hesitantly spoke to his manager and took the dish of the bill. You will get a much better hospitality and understanding at the Fisherman’s Wharf (a restaurant close by.)
