Fly in the ointment!!!! Warning to travelgoers. If you sit in their outdoor area and an insect falls in your food or beverage , they will take no responsibility or replace your order. Your choice is to take out the insect, eat that same food or drink the same drink or pay and order a fresh one. Even after several requests, the manager who by the way is extremely CURT, only had one thing to say that these things keep happening and never in the last 15 years have they changed their rule. We left with a bad taste in the mouth. So please beware and protect your eatables and especially your drink.

You have pointed it out right. We do not offer complimentary refill when an inspect drops in your glass of wine.And it's obvious you'd find us CURT coz we didn't offer the refill.

We went for lunch to Birdcage. It was a fabulous experience. Everything from the courteous staff, to the warm and cosy decor, beautiful plants and flavourful food was perfect.

The Birdcage in Mukteshwar is an absolute hidden gem that offers a perfect blend of luxury, nature, and tranquility. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable, with warm hospitality and smooth check-in formalities that set the tone for a fantastic stay. The rooms are nothing short of spectacular, beautifully designed with a cozy yet elegant touch. The highlight, however, is the breathtaking view—we witnessed a rainbow, a mesmerizing sunset, a star-lit night sky, and a magical sunrise all without even stepping out of bed. It’s a rare experience that truly makes this property stand out. The only aspect that could be improved is the food selection. While the quality was good, a bit more variety would have been appreciated. That said, considering the remote location, it is understandable and does not take away from the overall experience. If you’re looking for a serene getaway with world-class service, unmatched views, and a luxurious yet cozy ambiance, Birdcage is an absolute must-visit. Given the experience it offers, it feels like a five-star property at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended!
