When I call back to hotel, they asked me to adjust with what they sent and they cannot do anything for now.. horrible experience!!
It's a personal preference that I'd like North-Indian food, just like my North Indian friends love our Idli Sambhar.
The moment I heard about this place, wanted to visit. On my way back.from work, took a detour to check this place out.
Located at the very end of Gandhi Road, just near IIT gate, a narrow flight of stairs leads you to this simple, but brightly lit, clean place.
Quite late around 10:30pm, they were out of chicken Thali, settled for Roti Thali.
5 pcs of roti, aloo dry subzi, dal, potato gravy, onions, green chilly and green chutney. I ordered an Egg Burji in addition it. That plate looked so inviting that I dived into it right away. Loved the food, basic, but nice. Good enough for a normal eater, but I was quite hungry, asked for 2 more rotis.
85 bucks for thali, 20 for 2 extra rptis and 40 for Egg Burji, 145 bucks in all. Card was accepted.
I am definitely going back to try more stuff. Place is in a narrow street, no cars please. You're better off on a bike or by walk :)
