Ambience (4/5): At the crossroads between Vittal Mallaya Road and Lavelle road, The Biere Club offers a very classy place to enjoy pint or two. It offers a rusty old Irish pub vibe with comfortable seating and games like snooker (on the first floor). The sound of the music is quite bearable. Food and Drinks (3/5): The 3 dishes I tried (2 veg starters and a dessert). Thai corn fritters and the Hummus dish were decent light accompaniments with beer although you'd expect much more in terms of taste and complexity for the prices you're paying. The Biere Club special sundae was nothing more than a basic ice cream you get on the street for about Rs 150 although they charge 3X of that. Their beer quality, body and mouthfeel is definitely above average but their seasonal Mango Ale was worth a try. What disappointed is the lack of cocktails available here. There's a lot of hard liquor menu items but not a lot of cocktails. On the off chance someone like me is in the mood for an espresso martini, I had to give them the recipe to make it although it was done as per instructions. Service (5/5): Swain was great at suggesting, making conversation and even taking feedback positively too. The service in general was agile and courteous. My only gripe with this place is being situated in one of the most expensive areas in Bangalore, the prices you'll pay will be exorbitantly high. I dined alone but the amount in the bill is usually what I see when I go out with a +1. So if price is a very decisive factor for picking the place, you might want to reconsider.
