I recently visited The Backyard, a charming spot known for its stunning decor and cozy ambiance. The moment I stepped in, I was impressed by the thoughtfully designed interiors—warm lighting, elegant furniture, and artistic touches with play areas to keep ur child busy,made it a perfect setting for a relaxing evening. The seating arrangement was comfortable, and the soft background music added to the inviting atmosphere. However, despite its beauty, one major drawback significantly affected my experience—mosquitoes. Within minutes of settling in, I found myself constantly swatting away these tiny intruders. The outdoor seating, though aesthetically pleasing with fairy lights and lush greenery, seemed to be a breeding ground for them. The food and drinks were decent and pricing was just okay , with a decent variety on the menu. My order took 40mins to arrive whilst there was hardly any people. Hazelnut cappuccino was good but no matter how delicious the coffee or desserts were, the distraction caused by the mosquitoes took away from the overall enjoyment. I would recommend this cafe for its ambiance and decor, but only if they take serious measures to control the mosquito problem. Until then, be prepared with insect repellent if you plan to visit!
