Not the best Mallu food I’ve had, but a decent enough experience. Tried the Malabar Biryani, Parotta, and Chicken 65. The Parotta was soft and flaky — definitely the highlight.Tender coconut ice cream was a favourite too! The gravy could use more depth and flavor. Food leans slightly on the expensive side for the portion. Calming ambience and good for a quiet meal, but not something I’d rush back to. Waiting time during weekends - 45 mins to 1.5 hours Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₹200–400 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Malabar Parotta, Tender Coconut Ice-Cream

That Mallu Joint in T. Nagar, Chennai, is a hidden gem for authentic Kerala cuisine! Their Thalassery Biryani, Beef Fry, Appam with Stew, and Kerala Parotta are simply outstanding. The flavors are rich, and the quality of food is excellent. The ambiance is cozy with a true Kerala vibe, and the staff is warm and welcoming. If you're craving delicious Mallu food in Chennai, this place is a must-try! Highly recommended!
