A restaurant with toddy parlour in the Kumarakom road . The seafood varieties are just awesome. Every side dish in the meals are great. Enough open parking inside the compound, AC and non AC rooms are available. Because of the Toddy you may feel a bad smell in AC and locked rooms. Open huts are quite comfortable. Service boys did good job . Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₹1–200 Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Very Disappointing Experience – Stale Food and Unreasonable Prices Visited Tharavadu Restaurant, Kumarakom on Saturday, 04.10.2025. We ordered prawns and clam meat (kakka irachi), but both dishes were clearly not fresh. The food tasted as if it had been stored in the freezer for a long time and just reheated. The prawns were hard, rubbery, and difficult to eat. To make things worse, the restaurant charged unreasonably high prices for these poor-quality dishes. After eating there, we also suffered from stomach discomfort for 2–3 days, which clearly shows how badly the food was handled. Extremely disappointed with the overall experience. The restaurant seriously needs to improve its food quality, hygiene, and pricing standards. Not recommended at all.
