I’ve been to Thalassa many times and have always enjoyed the experience, which made this visit especially disappointing.We visited on a Wednesday and were charged ₹2,000 per person as cover (redeemable), despite there being no entertainment like belly dancing, fire show, or bubble man—things Thalassa is usually known for. There were only two of us, and while we were okay not choosing a table, the one allotted had a fan placed awkwardly right next to it, making the seating uncomfortable.Service was below expectations for a restaurant of this stature. We ordered shisha, priced around ₹3.5k–₹4.5k plus taxes for just 60 minutes, which is extremely expensive. Unfortunately, due to delays and lack of attention, almost 20 minutes of our shisha time was wasted. To top it off, while settling the bill, the waiter (Shane) did not return the ₹50 balance and assumed it was a tip without asking, which felt unprofessional.This experience did not match Thalassa’s brand value, pricing, or pa

Athala View new was something else entirely. This particular establishment didn’t live up to that experience. I’m not sure if that one is closed or has moved somewhere else. Everyone should know that they’re too Thalassa. But the one we went to doesn’t exist anymore. The food was good. If you like a greek cuisine, it’s a typical Mediterranean cuisine that is light on the stomach, but nutritious. We didn’t get any drinks this time. Overall, the entire wife was quite empty as there was no one there, and I just look like a generic place to be. Compare to other places. This place was lacking any kind of personality. There will be casualties in the restaurant trade as a result of the current economic turmoil; I sincerely think Thallasa is one of them.

I visited with my wife, sister and 2 year old daughter. I had reserved a table and was directed to a no smoking area which we requested.

The live performance which used to be highlight of previous visits has been reduced to nothing but a Mumbai dance bar vibe. The quality has gone down by many notches.

The worst part of the experience was later at night when the staff allowed multiple guests to smoke in our area. Even after multiple requests the staff was not bothered and according to them they allow guests to smoke anywhere even in front of kids, in smoking zone. I pointed to a notice next to bar which mentioned no smoking zone and a fine of 200. The staff hilariously discarded it saying the notice is for the hotel staff? Where in world do you see staff smoking in a restaurant?We quickly settled our inflated bill on over-priced food and worst experience ever.
