Tanto Pizzeria at Auroville road on the way to Auroville matrimandir is probably one of the best place for Italian cuisine. Its pizzas are the best in town. I found that they are better than what you get at other brands. If one is in Pondicherry and live Italian food, then a visit to Tanto is must. Its salads and chicken fingers are worth a try.
