A hole in the wall type, French national owned steak house. Kierre, the owner is an architect by profession, has his own steak recipe and makes his own sauces. Wine selection was good as well. Kierre is an experienced chef as well. Steak was well made and the sides were nice too. He is a warm person and it's nice to have a conversation with him. He was involved in the construction of Matri Mandir. His life story is also very interesting. Overall, good food and good experience. Vegetarian options: Mostly for non veg lovers and red meat enthusiasts. Parking: It's road side. Food was great to taste and freshly done piping hot as per my order in authentic French flavour. Italian pasta preparations had an exotic aroma with the mozzarella cheese and was excellent to taste. Was looking for a calm and relaxed dinner with family in Pondicherry after a tiring day at Auroville. Google suggested Satsanga when I chose French cuisine. Ambiance is nice as you can see. They have both covered and open sitting area. Service is good. Prices are slightly more than affordable but you have to spend that much when you are travelling. We had lovely French food and Indian too. We completely enjoyed the meal. Highly recommended. And yes it's clean and cozy and staff are friendly too.
