Appa Tandel Snacks, Pen If you’re in Pen and craving authentic local snacks, Appa Tandel Snacks is a must-visit. A foodie friend recommended it, and it absolutely delivered. We ordered Misal Pav, Dahi Misal, and Vada Pav. The Misal was especially good—flavorful but not too spicy, with a great mix of farsan and tasty sabji. They also served extra tarri on the side, which was rich and added a nice kick. The vada was crisp and fresh too. To drink, we tried the Ice Cream Soda. I was expecting something like a Coke float, but it turned out to be a vanilla-flavored soda—unexpected, but still enjoyable. Only thing to note: parking can be a hassle since it’s right on the main road. You might have to park nearby and walk a bit. Overall: Great flavors, quick service, and solid value. If you’re in or around Pen, this place is totally worth checking out.
