We ordered food from Tamil Virundhu Unavagam for our housewarming function held on 08/09/2024, for both breakfast and lunch for our friends and relatives. The breakfast arrived on time at 8:30 AM, and we had ordered venpongal, vada, idly, and poori. However, the poori was not up to the mark. The real disappointment arose during lunch. The food was supposed to be delivered by 1:00 PM, but it arrived late at 2:10 PM. We kept trying to contact the restaurant management, but they kept replying that the food would arrive in 5-10 minutes, which turned out to be more than an hour. Additionally, some of the food spilled inside the delivery vehicle, and the food that did arrive was undercooked and didn’t taste good. We had placed an order for 30 people, but the quantity served was enough for only 24 people, leading to a shortage of food for our guests. To serve the remaining people, we had to place an order from a nearby restaurant. After the function was over, my brother and I went to the restaurant to report the issue, but we couldn’t meet the owner that day. We managed to meet him the next day. The owner acted like he was genuinely sorry for their actions and insisted it wouldn’t happen again, but one of the management employees behaved rudely, raising his voice and acting irresponsibly. Once we raised our voices in response, they admitted their mistake. While finalizing the settlement, we expected them to adjust the price fairly, considering the delayed delivery, poor food quality, and serving fewer people than ordered. However, despite hearing all the complaints and admitting their mistakes, they demanded the exact remaining amount to settle the bill, which was a big shock to us. First of all, they didn’t serve the exact quantity of food we ordered, they delivered the food very late, and the food quality was poor. Overall, the experience was terrible. Do not ever choose this restaurant to order food for your special occasion. They will definitely ruin your special day. Service: Delivery Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₹1–200 Food: 1 Service: 1

They treat customer based on the price of the food if we eat variety rice then we have to eat out side the hotel Only briyani and meals are allowed to sit and eat I came with a family everyone ordered meals and one person asks for the varity rice we re asked to eat out that So if I order briyani and curd rice then shoul I eat briyani inside and go out side and eat curd rice Such a worst staffs

Sweets are made in Pongal and sell in deepavali and daily spraying pesticides to kill houseflies and preserve. Vadas making in early morning then heat and sell in evening. Parotttas are made only in garbage areas that is the secret of Tamil virundhu. Recommend for rich families only. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
