went to saz cafe in lower parel the other day and honestly, had such a good time. the vibe of the place is super chill but still has that classy, well-designed feel. great lighting, comfy seating, and the music wasn’t too loud (loved the jazz they were playing that day) just the kind of ambience you want for a relaxed hangout.we ended up ordering quite a bit dim sums, sushi, khao suey, pizza, even dessert and everything tasted amazing. not a single thing felt off or underwhelming. also, they gave us some diet chips as free samples which was such a cool gesture, the chips along with their variety of sauces were absolutely banging. I definitely recommend the cilantro garlic and scallion sauce its one of the best things ive ever put in my mouth. The philly cream cheese dimsum was a banger and the California roll was good too, Their chicken was a little too tender for something barbecued for my liking, but the condiments(Fresh spiced cucumber and the chilly sauce) paired well with it. While i found the miso chilli broccoli to be having a strong flavour but didn’t hit the right miso notes but the broccoli was cooked perfectly, exactly how i like it. The Vietnamese coffee lacked the authenticity and the coffee flavours didn’t stand out enough. Meanwhile i found the tropical glow to be an amazing light pairing with the food you eat, definitely recommend. The khao suey was pretty nice ticked every box for a good khao suey, it had a rich flavourful broth and lovely fresh condiments. But the star of the show for me was the pizza, I am a man who personally prefers texture over taste in pizza but Saz did both right, one of the best pizzas ive had in my life, It was a Neapolitan which had a charred crust with an amazingly baked underside, the grilled zucchini on the pizza took it to a whole another level, we asked for a burrata add on because we were craving burrata and their creamy fresh milky burrata absolutely did not dissapoint, some of the freshest burrata ive had. Lastly we ended things with the brookie which is a brownie style baked cookie with caramel icecream chocochips and caramel popcorn on top, we thoroughly enjoyed the decadent icecream and the brownie had amazing texture which carried the rich salted caramel flavour from the icecream topped with caramel popcorn to give it a lovely jabli texture.but what really stood out was the service. our server, akshay, was genuinely one of the nicest people we’ve come across in a while being really attentive, super polite, and just made the whole experience smoother without ever being intrusive. He recommended the best dishesdefinitely coming back here again. saz is one of those places that makes u want to keep coming back again and again
