In case the rain took you by surprise during the promenade around Taj Museum, stop by Taj Khema Restaurant. This place offers its guests Chinese cuisine. It's always a pleasure to rest and have a meal here because of the fast service.

the service is very bad. the ambience is good. everything is neat and clean too. but nothing up to the mark. the staff is polite but services need to be quick.

Very bad restaurant. They are being dishonnest and overcharge for services such as water bottle above Maximum Retail Price which is illegal. We had also chicken which was not fresh and both of us were sick.

This a property managed by UP tourism.. so expect the ambience in line with government standards only.

Being in close vicinity of tajmahal and the view of taj from their garden top it might score a little otherwise nothing great about the ambience and food.

Also you need to shell 250 + tax per person in order to sit in the garden area with taj view.

Went there going just by the name of taj khema.. ordered food where gravy of butter chicken and egg curry was same.. they actually put chicken and boiled eggs in the same gravy which felt like vegetarian gravy and served in 2 different bowls and took a lot of time to serve this.

Quite average food and services. When we asked about the delay in food being served the reply was epic: "hamara chef nahaane gaya hai".

Ok. To pass time we went up the stairs to access the open garden area to which manager objected saying it's a paid area and you've to shell out 250 per person for that. We paid that however we're not provided with a receipt for that.

Checked the tent which were nothing great and were pretty average.

Go there only if you've to spend some quality time in peace in their garden. Otherwise nothing so great about this property.
