We had a chance to indulge in the famous Kadalkootu — a flavour-packed seafood medley featuring crab, squid, netholi, prawns, and meen curry, all served as part of a traditional Kerala meal. Originally priced at ₹399, we were pleasantly surprised to get it for just ₹100 as part of some special offer (during inauguration last week it was 199₹)— an absolute steal for the taste and variety offered. We also tried porottas (Nool porota was unavailable) alongside their signature Aslam Butter Chicken. Priced at ₹340, it felt slightly on the higher side, but the richness and unique flavour made it well worth the splurge. Overall, Turkish Gourmet delivers a satisfying blend of local seafood charm and Indo-Turkish fusion — definitely worth a visit if you're around Vellayittambalam.
