If you walk or take a two wheeler to this place, it's fine. There's parking space for a couple of cars or about 8-10 two wheelers. The little details like uneven steps, and the glass door with a small handle told me not to expect much. This is a place to order from, not to sit down and eat. The young guys behind the counter are gossiping away and it's only after a few minutes that they hand out the menu with a pen for ordering. I settle for the noodles. After all the name says The Noodle Theory without explaining what the theory is. It's all practicals. There's no intellectual aspect to this place at all. It's an all vegetarian menu. The options are to order 5 toppings, one sauce, two garnishes and the choice of noodles is flat or gluten free apart from the regular one. The dish was served very quickly. And tasted fresh. The groundnuts added a great crunch and the paneer along with the sambal sauce went well. I had first asked for pepper sauce and the helpful young guy indicated I may be making a mistake "Very spicy" he said. So I switched. The interior smells like a mix between waffles and Chinese food. That's not so appetizing. So order from here rather than dropping in. The only view is the endless traffic on Adyar bridge Road. And I've already told you about the parking issue. But if that doesn't faze you, the noodles are fresh and at just under Rs.300, filling. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₹200–400

Wanted to try a couple of items from the new menu so decided to visit instead of ordering in. The edamame dumplings were quite good and felt quite filling for the portion. The chilli crisp that comes with the dumplings was a stand out. Tried the avocado maki which was also nice but I wish the avocado filling had been salted slightly. Make your own wok/noodles is always a hit here. Good portion size. I recommend the spinach noodles in the red wine sauce. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₹600–800 Recommendation for vegetarians: Highly recommend Vegetarian offerings: Menu is all vegetarian
