I orderd a latte, which is too strong for me, Actually i tried it for first time, but rest is ok. Staff are good and friendly, the place was nice, clean & hygenic. Service was fast, atomstosphere was good. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We visited Local Café, located next to Vajra Taxi Stand in Vajra Mall, one of the oldest malls in Gangtok, during our Sikkim trip in March 2025. The place was clean, well-maintained, and had a welcoming atmosphere. The staff were polite and very helpful, making our visit even better. We ordered a sandwich and also tried Lap Ling, an authentic Tibetan dish. The staff took the time to explain the dishes, which made the experience more enjoyable. The best part of this café is the stunning mountain view from the seating area, offering a beautiful view of Gangtok city. Special thanks to the manager, Tshering Young Ming Ming, who was very courteous and shared interesting details about Northeastern and Tibetan cuisine. We’d love to see more such outlets in other parts of India! Adding some pics here.
