Swati Snacks in Ahmedabad came highly recommended, but unfortunately, our experience didn’t live up to the expectations. While the place looked clean and hygienic, the food fell short in terms of taste. We ordered the Panki Chatni, which was just okay – nothing special to write home about. The Chola Methi Dhokla with Kadhi, however, was a letdown. The flavors didn’t quite work for me, and I found myself wondering why I even ordered it. It just didn’t match my taste buds at all. The only saving grace was the Pav Bhaji, which was decent and somewhat made up for the otherwise underwhelming meal. It had the familiar flavors I was hoping for, but even that wasn’t exceptional. Although I would admit the Sugarcane juice was also good. Overall, Swati Snacks didn’t impress us taste-wise, despite its reputation. While the hygiene and presentation were on point, the food lacked the flavor and excitement we were hoping for. Maybe it was an off day, but based on this experience, I’m not sure if I’d return.
