A lovely satvik vegetarian restaurant as a part of Ayushakti the ayurvedic centre. Lovely ambience, surrounded by greenery and a surprisingly quiet corner in Malad. Loved the Thali that I tried, look forward to trying other dishes in their menu as well. Perfect place if you’re looking for healthy & clean food. I was visiting Mumbai. I was in the mood for some good pure vegetarian food. There are many vegetarian food joints in Malad but then none came up to the standard that i was looking for. I just happened to come across Swadshakti when doing a google search and this place looked interesting. Its located in a unpretentious corner on SV Road but when i entered the premises there was a different vibe about the place. Its actually an Ayurveda Centre and noticed many foreigners .They come and stay there to undergo Ayurveda treatment along with the local populace who visit for Day use. The Menu looked so interesting and different. I ordered their Inhouse Thali and in keeping with their idea of a healthy meal the quantity was apt. It was so delicious and there was the essence of pure vegetarianism in it. . I would also like to mention if i am not mistaken the Manager Harish Desai who was such a courteous gentlemen and his character reflected in the way he was treating the elderly who had come for treatment. Definitely a must go if you are in the mood for Satvik food. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
