Recently visited Sthamba Global Brewery in Andheri West with a group of six. While the concept of the place is quite unique and the variety of beers is impressive, unfortunately, our overall experience was disappointing due to the service. We were seated at Table 11 (as per the bill). A staff member named Shiv served us and brought several beer samples, which we appreciated. However, he named the beers quickly and without much clarity, making it difficult for all six of us to remember which was which. When we politely requested him to go over the options again, his response was unexpectedly aggressive and dismissive — which immediately shifted our mood and impacted the overall experience. On the positive side, the food was good. We tried a mix of dishes and were happy with the quality and presentation. That said, the service was slow, and the attitude shown by the waiter left a sour taste. To top it off, despite not mentioning a service charge in the bill, Mr. Shiv hinted at wanting a tip, which we found unprofessional — especially considering how he treated us. Tips should be earned, not expected. Our bill was close to ₹10,000, and while the ambience was nice and we appreciated the effort of other staff, we only offered a token tip of ₹100. We sincerely hope management trains their team better in hospitality and communication, especially when interacting with first-time guests. Would love to come back for the food and ambience — but only if the service improves.
