I visited after huge reccommendations coming from local people and other travelers. The first night we visited we ordered prawn curry, rice, naan and paneer. The paneer was a disaster but prawn curry was quiet alright. I actually liked it. I wanted to give it another chance so we visited during lunch because they serve Thalis only during lunchtime. But boy! was that a bad idea. We ordered a lot of things - Fish Thali, Crab Sukka, Butterfish fry, Kind fish fry, fish thali, chicken vindaloo and some extra rice. One thing I noticed was all the fishes were fried in the same batter which was too thick for some tender fishes like Butterfish. And they probably fry it in the same oil because the flavors had all mixed and you could barely tell one fish apart from other. Everything else was too spicy. I am quiet comfortable with chillies but this was the hotness coming from using too many strong spices, which is not easy to deal with amd has after effects. So we were not able yo finish anything from the order. Crab was quiet expensive but had no meat. Chicken Vindaloo was certainly not how I know vindaloo to be. The only saving grace was that since we were visibly quiet distressed with the spice and food the waiter offered to take back some extra untouched rice orders so we dont have to pay for it and it doesnt go to waste. Maybe some people will like their food but I think Konkani food is so much more than just hot spice.

Greatly & pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. No fancy frills in this place but Authentic Goan fish preparations! As good as home made! Good staff. Recommended highly if fish is on your mind..
