Nice place by the river. Had their stuffed mushrooms which was really good. Also had the pork chilly fry which ok and could have been cooked some more. This place in opinion is definitely value for money. The stuffed mushroom is a must try. The squids fry was brilliant, even the chicken Xacuti was excellent. The chicken is halal. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₹1,200–1,400 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

My experience at Joe's River Cove in Goa was incredibly off-putting from start to finish. After being seated, it took over 30 minutes just to have our food order taken by the server. Once we had finally ordered, we then had to wait another excessive 45 minutes for our meals to actually arrive at the table. When the food did finally come out, I was completely disgusted to discover a dead fly cooked into one of the dishes! This is an unacceptable and frankly unsanitary situation at any restaurant, let alone one promoting itself as a higher-end riverside dining experience. I immediately brought this to the attention of the staff, but they seemed completely unfazed and unbothered by the fact that they had served me a dead insect in my meal. No apologies were given and no manager ever came to address the situation. Between the terrible service with outrageous wait times and then receiving a dish with a dead fly cooked into it, this was easily one of the worst dining experiences I've had. The lack of care and concern from the staff just compounded the matter. I would urge anyone looking for a nice night out to completely avoid Joe's River Cove. The poor service and unsanitary kitchen practices are unacceptable. There are many better options for dining in the Goa area that hopefully have higher standards than this restaurant. Save yourself the hassle and disappointment.
