Food is pretty much always consistent. The stuffed mushrooms here are hands down the best in Goa. Service is pretty friendly but can be slow on busy days even with the number of servers the place has. The place is pretty big and has ample seating that caters to everyone. The place is right on the river which also makes for some great views. Also, this is a great place to host small events or gatherings. Price per person: ₹2,000+ Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

Great views and tasty food. Service can be a tad slow, just great for an idlyllic holiday dinner by the beach. The gentle sea breeze provided natural ventilation. Amongst all of the dishes, loved the prawn curry. Suggest to come here for a lazy dinner with old friends. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₹1,000–1,200

I recently revisited Joe's River Cove after a lapse of 4-5 years, anticipating a pleasant dining experience. However, our visit turned out to be quite disappointing. The renowned stuffed mushroom dish, which we had eagerly anticipated, fell short of expectations. The bread crumbs were soggy and emitted an unpleasant odor, while the stuffing had a sour taste with an accompanying foul smell. In addition, the veg sizzlers we ordered were far from satisfactory. They comprised only two veg cutlets and a meager portion of what appeared to be biryani rice, although lacking the characteristic flavor. Furthermore, the rice emitted an unpleasant smell reminiscent of gulab jamun, which overshadowed any semblance of taste in the dish. Overall, our experience at Joe's River Cove fell short of expectations.
