Starbucks Coffee in Kolkata is a great place to hang out with friends and enjoy a cup of coffee. The Elgin outlet has a cozy and comfortable ambience, with open seating arrangements and nice music. The food options are good, with espresso, caramel macchiato, cafe mocha, pastry and choco chip cookie available. The macchiato could have been less sweet, but overall the food was up to expectations. Delivery and tracking by Zomato also gets five stars. However, there are some issues with the quality of the products and service provided. The cold brew was delivered in two tall cups instead of the plastic bottle it was supposed to come in, and the frappie was runny and not up to Starbucks standards. Moreover, the bag was wet when the coffee was delivered, indicating that the coffee had leaked on the way. The hot chocolate was also spilled inside the box, and the whipped cream and caramel toppings were missing from some orders. In spite of all this, Starbucks remains a great place for coffee lovers, with its signature taste, trademark aroma and quality ingredients.

This is really a good Starbucks, it is little cozy but space is okay for their good quality coffee and snacks. I visited many times. I like this cafe. It is at the near back side entry gate of forum mall. I’ve been a loyal customer of Starbucks since 2018, and my experiences have always been delightful—until today. Unfortunately, my recent visit was deeply disappointing. The cashier not only attempted to aggressively upsell products but also behaved in an arrogant manner. To make matters worse, I was charged twice for the same bill, and the staff took no responsibility for processing a refund. This kind of treatment was completely disheartening, and I’m genuinely shocked that a brand like Starbucks would handle its customers in such a way. I also noticed that some of the baristas were playfully throwing paper cups at each other and then using them, even after they had fallen on the floor. I live in Australia and often come to Kolkata for work. As you all know, Australia is well known for its great coffee and strong coffee culture. That’s why I’m very particular about my coffee—the blend used and how it’s made by the barista. I must say, I’m very happy with Starbucks at Forum, as I live very close to it. Every time I go there, I’m greeted with a smile, and the service is excellent. Riya, Bandana, Priyanka, and Anita are especially outstanding. As soon as I walk in, they know exactly which coffee I want and always add an extra dose of love to it. Thank you so much!
