The location was convenient for our layover in chennai. We purchased over a thousand rupees worth of goods and sat with our hand luggages. Next door there is Hagan Daaz where my 2 year old wanted an ice cream bar. We got one for her and let her have it while we drank our coffee. The employee told us outside food was not allowed and to leave. We had to call my sister and mom back into Starbucks retrieve our hand luggages since our baby was not welcome to eat an ice cream bar. The rude employee had the audacity to come back and interrupt us again as we were packing up to leave and tell us not to keep opening the door and close it shut. Not sure what her issue was that day but it was super hostile and rude. We will NEVER return and will forever steer customers away from this spot. Absolutely crappy service for the Starbucks brand. I cannot believe they kept imposing rules on us. We have never been treated this way at even a small corner shop in India. So hostile and so unprofessional and so negative.
