Very good decent place to stay with family, just in the heart of the city. All the main temples are within one KM radius that we walked and visited all the famous Sarangapani temple, Chakrapani temple, Kumbeswarar temple. It just opposite to the Gandhi park. Parking can be done in the opposite street outside the park. It is residential and safe too. Overall we had a great stay but we were 3 young friends so we were looked suspicious as they thought we would drink! Drinking and smoking are not allowed and it is mentioned. And they couldn’t believe that we came for temple visit! Anyways, it dint bother us but just thought of sharing it here. They also have a hotel attached but we did not eat here as we had in a tiffin centre just near the temple! Service: 5

We visited restaurant and the taste and services were as good as it used to be. Very nice place to have pure veg delicious food in kumbakonam
