Sri Murlidhar Veg Thali is truly an iconic spot in Pune, especially for anyone who loves a hearty and satisfying vegetarian meal. Located in the heart of the city, this place has been serving up delicious veg thalis for years, and I’ve been a loyal visitor throughout. It has never failed to impress me! The food here tastes just like homemade, which is what makes it so special. Every thali comes with a perfect balance of flavors, including three vegetable curries, dal, amty, a fresh salad, crispy papad, and either dahi or buttermilk to refresh your palate. On top of that, they always serve hot phulkas and a variety of rice—changing daily, which keeps things exciting. The thali also includes some delicious farsan on the side, making it a wholesome and fulfilling meal. What I personally look forward to every time is the Moong Daal Halwa—it’s a must-try dessert that adds the perfect sweet ending to the meal. The quality of food here is fantastic, and the price is completely justified by the generous portions and the consistent taste. It’s no surprise that this place is always packed with customers eager to indulge in their tasty thali. If you're a thali lover, Sri Murlidhar Veg Thali is a must-visit.
