The menu of Vegetarian cuisine is recommended to taste at this restaurant. Here you will find perfectly cooked vada, masala dosa and sambar. The competent staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place wonderful. Nice service is something that visitors note in their reviews. Prices are found attractive here. Sri Gowri Shankar is famous for its calm atmosphere. But this place has been rated below average by Google.

Recently Gowri Sankar that brand names goes down this is my second experience We ordered two veg briyani bills for 320 rs even though that briyani is not worth it., for alternate we eat in small hotels they charge around 50-60 rs o think that also in good quality compared to Gowri Sankar Service: Dine in Price per person: ₹200–400 Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes: Biryani

Today we four people had onion rava dosai,sambar vadai and coffee. Food was nice but surprised to note the bill of ₹900.Highly expensive. Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: ₹200–400

Sri Gowri Shankar still thrives of the legacy name they have as a good vegetarian restaurant. It still continues have patronage from the locals despite poor service and atmosphere. Food is generally good to okayish. We tried a variety of items like Masala Dosa, Idli, Parotta, Chola Poori, etc. The Chola Poori was badly prepared & served, when we complained they changed it without batting an eye-lid but would have preferred the corrected that before serving & letting us complain. Their staff is good but not pleasant. The shop could do better in their ambience. They resist to accept digital payment by making all sorts of excuses. On the day I went they maintained that their POS had tower issues (cannot believe that they can make this claim in such a location) and didn't even try once. A word of caution - do not go to this place without cash. They will demand cash on most days & situations.
