Disappointing Experience at Uduppi Anandabhavan Restaurant I have visited this place many times when it was Sree Anandh Bhavan Restaurant, and it was always a great experience. However, during my recent visit, I realized that the management had changed, and now it operates as Sree Uduppi Bhavan—unfortunately, the difference was quite evident. From the moment I entered, I felt a lack of warmth and hospitality. The person at the counter was not very welcoming, and to my surprise, there were no other guests inside, which was already a red flag. Food & Service Experience: ️ Ghee Roast – Served very quickly, which seemed promising at first. However, the sambar was disappointing, tasting like hot water had been added to dilute it. Tomato Chutney – Not available when I asked for a second serving. The waiter simply said it was finished. Poor Service – Minutes later, another family entered and ordered the same Ghee Roast, and all three of them received tomato chutney—which I was denied just moments earlier! This experience was truly disappointing, and it’s clear that the new management needs serious improvement in both service and food quality. Sadly, I won’t be returning, nor can I recommend this place anymore. A restaurant that was once great has lost its charm. I give a zero star rating,, we had our meal at 1pm but the rice was cold and over coocked. The utensils used for the curries were not clean. There was even a small dead spider on the side of the plate Bad experience ever.. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₹1–200

Had breakfast at this vegetarian restaurant and tried their idly—it was good! They serve it with sambar, tomato chutney, and coconut chutney, all of which complemented the idly perfectly. They even include a sweet with the meal, which was a nice touch. Plus, the restaurant has decent parking options, making it convenient to visit.
