Spudato is an average restaurant that left us with mixed feelings after our visit. We were a group of 19 friends, and while we appreciated the attempt at serving Arabic and mandi-style cuisine, the overall experience was just okay. One of the most noticeable things was the mutton juice – instead of actual meat broth, they poured some unknown liquid over the boiled mutton, which tasted a bit off and didn’t match our expectations. The mutton mandi itself was fine, but one of the pieces turned out to be a stomach portion, which wasn’t enjoyable. The fish was average, nothing special in terms of flavor or texture. The natukodi chicken mandi also failed to impress—it lacked the depth and traditional touch we were hoping for. The seating arrangement was manageable, but the entry to the second floor was slightly confusing. Ambience-wise, it didn’t meet the mark. Music wasn’t properly audible in the dining area but was oddly loud inside the washroom. Speaking of which, only one washroom was available for customers, which isn’t ideal for larger groups. For desserts, we tried the kunafa, which was quite disappointing. They handed us sugar syrup to pour on it, but it didn’t elevate the taste—it felt artificial. The brownie we ordered was just passable. Most importantly, they didn’t serve any complimentary soup, which is usually expected in such places. Overall, Spudato has a lot of potential but needs major improvements in food quality, service consistency, and ambience to offer a better dining experience. Hi Sunil Kumar Reddy garu, Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We’re always open to constructive criticism, and it helps us improve and grow. To clarify a few points from your visit: • The “mutton juice” you referred to is actually our Shahi Mutton Gosh-style milk-based cream, made with kaju, badam, and black pepper—a rich accompaniment crafted to complement the mutton. • The fish we serve is imported Vietnamese basa, known for being soft, smooth, and completely boneless. If you haven’t already, we highly recommend trying our Fish Fritters on your next visit—they’re a customer favorite. • What you referred to as “natukodi chicken” is actually our Naatu Chicken Mandi—clearly mentioned in the description. It features boneless chicken grilled on a tawa with our chef’s special Indo-continental spice mix. • Regarding facilities, we do have two separate washrooms—one for male and one for female customers—located side by side. • As for the complimentary soup, we intentionally do not serve one, as we believe it doesn’t align with or elevate the true flavors of our dishes. We genuinely value your feedback and are sorry to hear that the ambience and overall experience didn’t meet your expectations. We’ll continue working to improve on all fronts and hope to welcome you and your group again for a better experience next time. Warm regards, Team SPUDATO
