Spice Kitchen - JW Marriott Pune buffet is a "must" try if you are a foodie. I had buffet here 2-3 times and I enjoyed both Sunday Brunch and dinner buffet. But in terms of variety Sunday brunch is the winner.
Cold cuts and salads: They will serve all possible veg and non-veg salad and exotic cold-cuts including squids, prawns, salmon, salami, beacon. Feel free to ask them to prepare a salad bowl for your.
Starters: Depending on the Brunch theme, their starters vary all the times and it will never disappoint you. One of the brunch they were hosting open air (not inside Spice Kitchen) had exotic sea-food/non-veg grilled options. In sea-food they had Pomfret, King fish (Surmai), Squids and Jumbo prawns. Those were grilled in front of you at their live grill counters and served at your table. Also they had grilled chicken and roasted lamb as well.
Main course: Main course had Indian (Bengali/North-Indian), Continental, Pan-Asian(Chinese) options. To name a few Bengali style Chicken Biryani, Dimsum, pork ribs, chicken periperi and prawn spring rolls were mouthwatering. They do serve amazing thin crust pizza and pasta from their continental live counter. Apart from the standard offering they do serve Quails, duck etc as well.
Don't be too excited and fill your stomach !!! Keep some space for their amazing spread of dessert that includes mousse, pastries, cakes, Indian sweets, fruits, Ice-cream etc. Overall it is one of the best places in Pune to go for buffet, specially the Sunday brunch.
