Subhojit's service was ! The staff were super friendly, attentive, and sorted out all our queries. Food was served piping hot, and they were quick to refill our drinks. Kudos to the team!

Subhojit Das is the man to get in touch with on the floor of SOUL.He's the person who knows his work.He recommended Murg Mussalam which turned out to be worth every peny. Would love to visit this place for my next dining.

I have always considered Steakhouse – Bar and Grill as one of the legendary eating places in Pune. Given their expertise in excellent grilled steaks and other lip-smacking menu, I was pleasantly surprised that the same team led by Ritika Honey and Ankit decided to open a new venture at Viman Nagar – Soul - Neighbour Food Bar. Both Ritika and Ankit being hardcore foodies and from Delhi, they were missing proper Delhi style food. Well, given that “North Indian” food is adjusted to the local palette here, the team at Soul went the off road way to provide you true Delhi style food as how they love it and want you to experience the same. And it is a welcome move of Soul to step the other way in front of, that with Pune’s food scene turning towards lot of chic and heavy SM designed aesthetics and menus that remind you of Gaurav Kapoor’s Reel of “Bhais ke Dudh ki chaaaialmond milk nahi”. The team at Soul want you to visit them, sit “Aaramat”, have finger licking food and mock/cocktails and enjoy some retro music with friends or alone. Atmosphere: The vibe and atmosphere at Soul are not overboard and screaming loud. It’s a well-designed layout with smoking and non-smoking sections. Point to be noted is the smoking and non-smoking is well divided by a thick glass partition. The chairs are comfortable to sit and not those “ghost chairs” or again chairs that look good but don’t “function” on your bum. These minor points of comfy chairs do connect back to their moto of the occasion enjoyed by your “Soul” and not your mortal-self. Other Stuff: The cutlery, plates, and specially the tissues are also of good quality. In these times, finding a good tissue that “actually” wipes your hand in a restaurant is becoming difficult. The lighting is adequate and simultaneously not in your face which creates somewhat a soothing effect. If anyone is planning to visit with Senior Citizens in mind, I will recommend to sit near the windows if going in the evening. Menu and Food: The team at Soul focuses most on true Delhi/North style Khana/Chakna and Indo Chinese that resonates excellent when you wish to go out with your friends/SO/family for any kind of occasion or just create one. It was good to see items such as Aloo Tikki, Amritsari Fish Tikka and others here which seldom other restos step into. With us being seated and the idea and BTS gappa by Ritika, it was time for us to dig in in some Soul-searching food curated by Ritika. Items: 1. Chilly Cheese Garlic Naan. 2. Makhmali Aloo Tikki 3. Kali Mirch Chicken 4. Siracha Paneer. 5. Afghani Soya Chaap. 6. Dal Makhani 7. Delhi Style Butter Chicken 8. Pindi Chole. 9. Assorted Breads. Verdict? In one sentence: Mostly when you have North Indian Food – you feel heavy, The food here will make you sleepy.and in a extremely good way. Sukh asta asa. Dabake Khao – Dabake So Jao. Bas udhar nahi. If your Aatma is searching for good North Indian/Indo Chinese food you definitely need to visit Soul and satisfy that hunger. With excellent owners and staff, true blue North Indian food as their offering with immense love, Soul – Neighborhood Bar deserves Pune’s love. Pan me tar Kothrud la rahato...kiti lamb ahe!!!! Give your regular NI food joints a break this time and visit Soul for some amazing and Soul satisfying food they have to offer.
