My recent visit to Souk left me distinctly underwhelmed. While the restaurant enjoys a reputation for elegance, the reality fell short of expectations. The ambience, rather than being refined and serene, was marred by casual conversations in Hindi between staff members that diminished the sense of exclusivity one anticipates in such an establishment.Although the restaurant is situated on a higher floor, the much-advertised view proved ordinary at night, offering little of the charm one imagines when dining by the Arabian Sea. The music, disappointingly loud and poorly curated, added little sophistication. Coupled with prices that far exceed the quality of the overall experience, Souk struggles to justify its prestige.
