Disappointing Experience – Not Worth the Hype or Price We were a group of four who visited this place hoping for a good Korean BBQ experience after seeing their menu on Zomato, which mentioned dishes priced around ₹650. But once we got there, the reality was very different — every dish was priced at ₹880, which felt overpriced for what we received. We ordered pork BBQ and chicken — both at ₹880 each — but the portions were shockingly small. For the pork, we got barely 200g of meat, and the chicken was just a few patties. We also ordered a beef rice dish (again ₹880), and even that came in a very tiny portion. What made it worse was that we were told we had to order four dishes since we were four people. That rule felt unnecessary and unreasonable, especially given how expensive and small each dish was. To top it off, the owner came across as rude and intrusive, and the staff didn’t seem trained to handle customers respectfully — which really affected the whole vibe. We ended up paying ₹3600+ for four small dishes, and left hungry and disappointed. I’m not writing this to bad-mouth anyone — just sharing our honest experience so others can be more informed before visiting. Definitely not worth the price or the hype.

Amidst the shining restaurant signboards in Indiranagar, there is the old-school signboard of Soo Ra Sang. If you don't look for it, you will surely miss it. We went there for dinner on a Wednesday night. It's a 21-year-old Korean eatery that is as authentic as you can get in Bengaluru. Sadly, though it has been 2 years in the city for me, I had no idea about its presence till we went there. The seating arrangement is traditional, with a barbecue at every table for live preparation. The meal started with the pancake appetiser. If you opt for the barbecue, you have to order 2 minimum dishes — we ordered chicken and pork. Both were amazing. The second appetiser was an omelette, which was brilliant. Sadly, I forgot the name. Then came the Bibimbap, which was at another level of deliciousness. We ended our meal with their homemade cheesecake and Su Jeong Gwa, which is a traditional Korean tea made of Cinnamon, Ginger, and Pepper extracts. I was just glad that in Bangalore, we have found a Korean place where we can easily go in without worrying about how the food and ambience would be. Highly, highly recommended for anyone looking for Korean cuisine or wanting to explore a new place. P.S.: We had a lovely chat with Aunt Yong (I hope I am spelling it right), the owner, on her journey with this Soo Ra Sang and, most importantly, life in general. She also showed us the way to eat the food so that we get the best taste. Price per person: ₹800–1,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian offerings: Clearly labeled vegetarian dishes

THE WORST OWNER AND STAFF I EVER ENCOUNTERED IN THE 30 YEARS OF MY LIFE! The manager and the owner were literally scolding us for not knowing what the dishes are and how to eat them. They have no manners. I havent got screamed at or talked to this way ever in my life. Please dont go here and have the biggest disappointment of your life. They literally look down on you and cross question you. I felt like being a student who is freaking scared of the school principal. They were monitoring us every now and then as to how we are eating our food. Rudest and ill-mannered owner and manager. DONT GO HERE EVER. This place deserves to be shut down. I dont know who gave these 4 star rating. They also told us to stop looking at our phones and eat and the food. I mean like WHAT THE HECKKKK!!!!
