After looking at Worli Fort, have a meal at Smoke House Deli Lower Parel. The Vegetarian cuisine attracts customers searching for a new experience. You will be offered such food as nicely cooked mushroom soup, pizza salads and pesto pasta, come here and try them. Being at this cafe, try good chocolate fudge, smoked cheesecakes and vanilla ice cream. Delicious house wine, red sangria or beer will make your meal even more delicious and you'll certainly come back. I don't usually write reviews because every restaurant has good days and bad days and sometimes it's harsh to review them badly and good reviews anyways get around by word of the tummy!! But in this case I have to mention that I decided to pick smoke house deli lower parel because of my past experiences in the Bandra branch which have been pretty wonderful! The food is great, the service perfect! Everything fist class! And obviously the place is my favourite because of the interiors! But unfortunately I cannot say the same for smoke house deli lower parel. It was my birthday yesterday and I wanted to meet my childhood friends for lunch before heading into a performance at mahalaxmi race course for my play which was at 7. My friend had a baby and there was no provision for a baby chair in the restaurant. It's pretty weird considering it's a family restaurant, I don't think it's difficult to provide a baby chair. The restaurant had an awful network so I couldn't make or receive calls and they refused to give me the wifi password and kept telling me 5 minutes for a whole 3 hour long lunch. I couldn't reply to messages and take or make any calls. I have never been refused a wifi password even in small restaurants anywhere in Bombay or anywhere around the world. I had requested them that I have a show at 7 post which I'll not be able to make any calls or reply to any messages till 11. But my polite request fell on deaf ears. Now the service, the worst I have experienced in my life. We were served salad without any cutlery. The watermelon juice was warm and we had to constantly ask for ice. The green apple salad had red apple in it. They didn't bother informing us that there are no green apples anywhere in lower parel because of which they had to substitute it with a red apple and it tasted awful. Usually that's the only thing I have at the bandra branch and this was nowhere close to that. The service was awful because they were packed but that's not our problem. The food was very average. I asked them to get me the manager 3 times and the manager was busy with other tables to even be remotely interested in listening to what we had to say. Now the worst part of the whole lunch. The floor of this restaurant is very dirty and extremely slippery. My friend and I kept slipping because we were in heels and wedges. I had the baby in my hand and at one point I almost slipped because the floor was so slippery. By the end of the meal my wedges broke and I had to go to the store opposite and buy new shoes so I could get to my car. Salim, another manager who seemed slightly considerate tried his best to salvage the situation by providing us with complimentary green tea n jasmine tea but by then I was already pretty angry with the place and the service. I don't think I would like to go back to this place for a lunch or even a drink. And if you have children this place is a no no. They spoilt my birthday lunch and I don't recommend anyone to go here on a weekend with a big group of people who just want a decent time.
