A Mixed Bag of Flavors with a Side of Great Vibes #SimplySouth #foodiesinhyderabadreloaded This morning, we decided to kick-start the day with breakfast at Simply South, Jubilee Hills. While the conversation and ambiance scored full marks, the food served us a few surprises—some pleasant, some... well, let’s just say, they needed a bit more seasoning. The Onion Pessarattu and Puri seemed to have taken the "simple" part of the name too seriously, leaving our taste buds waiting for that wow factor. Even the plating could have used a bit more TLC. But then came the standouts—Ghee Karam Idly and Vada—stealing the show with their perfect texture and flavors that didn’t hold back. And just when things were looking like a mixed bag, the classic Plain Dosa teamed up with a steaming cup of Filter Coffee to redeem the day. What truly elevated the experience, however, was the stunning ambience—traditional South Indian temple-inspired interiors with intricate designs and a serene vibe. Would I go back? Probably. But next I’d stick to the hits.
