Edited to add: Mr. Rajneesh called to understand the issue and assured me that he will look into the matter. Really appreciate the effort. We went for a dinner today to celebrate my father’s birthday. fez/side wok has always been a favourite since its Malcha Marg days. What a terrible service! We had a server who had the worst attitude, sloppy, uninterested and probably had a bad night. We requested for butter for my three year old and I was told that they can’t give me butter because apparently a Chinese/mediterranean restaurant does not have butter in their kitchen. I had to ask the manager to arrange the same. I’ve never come across such an indifferent attitude towards customers especially a table with a child and an elderly couple celebrating a birthday. The food however still lives up to its standard. The shish touk, Vietnamese grilled chicken and nasi goreng were well made and flavoursome. However, good food does not stand a chance against their appalling service. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₹1,000–1,200 Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

We started with chicken and vegetables clear soup with burnt garlic. It was really fresh and nice. We ordered some pan fried noodles and in main course Vegetables with almonds and angel sauce vegetables. Both had a great assortments of vegetables. The lime soda we ordered could have been better as the soda used was flat. But overall very nice food and service. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

I recently had the pleasure of dining at sidewok + Fez Restaurant, and it was truly a delightful culinary experience. From the moment I stepped into the restaurant, I was greeted by a warm and inviting ambiance that set the tone for the evening. The menu Sidewok offered a diverse selection of dishes, showcasing a fusion of flavors and fresh, locally sourced ingredients. The knowledgeable and attentive staff provided excellent recommendations and catered to my dietary preferences with ease. Each dish was beautifully presented, and it was evident that great care was taken in the preparation and plating. I started with the seared scallops appetizer, which was perfectly cooked and served with a flavorful citrus glaze. The combination of textures and flavors was exquisite. For the main course, I opted for the grilled salmon, which was cooked to perfection, moist and flaky with a delicious herb crust. The accompanying roasted vegetables were a delightful addition, adding a burst of color and freshness to the dish. To end the meal, I indulged in the chocolate lava cake for dessert. The rich, gooey center paired perfectly with the velvety smooth vanilla ice cream, creating a heavenly combination. Each bite was a decadent delight. The service at Sidewok was impeccable. The staff was attentive, friendly, and genuinely passionate about creating a memorable dining experience. The waitstaff provided prompt service and ensured that all aspects of the meal were taken care of, from refilling drinks to providing timely recommendations. While the overall experience at Sidewok was outstanding, there were a few minor areas for improvement. The restaurant was quite busy, which led to slightly longer wait times between courses. Additionally, the noise level within the restaurant could be a bit loud at times, making it slightly challenging to have a conversation.
