After enjoying Bara Imambara, go to this restaurant which is not far away. Search through the Indian menu. The truth is that you will really like good chole bhature, paneer and spiced corn. I came to Lucknow after 6 years. As I was born and brought up in Lucknow, this shop was the go to place for me. However, I think over a period both the quality and quantity have gone down. Around 10 years back, the Lassi of this joint was easily the best across many cities. But now it is just okayish. Chhole Bhature as I tasted recently were relatively better and were like those in old days. These can be tried. Milk Badam in particular was quite rubbish. Not worth spending a dime. Service and ambience was in any case not the strong suit of this shop even earlier. The food was it's USP. It is really sad, tha the current owners have diluted the USP of their brand and compromised on quality. Shree Lassi is now not worth travelling across Lucknow to enjoy a wholesome vegetarian experience. It is a "maybe" kind of experience. I heard a lot about this place for their Lassi and Chole Bhature! I tried Lassi but I didn't find anything special! Also, they add crushed ice on top of the Lassi, without even asking Even Bhatura is not looks like Bhatura :( It's a self service place with limited seating in Varandha!
