Search through the Chinese menu. If hungry, come here for perfectly cooked fish curry, chicken and prawns. You will certainly like the calm atmosphere. Google gives it 4.7 so you can select this restaurant to have a good time here.

Shiven's Kitchen is a small restaurant located in the heart of Margao city. It is run by a local Goan. However, during our visit, the owner seemed disinterested and lacked proper customer service skills. It felt as though he just wanted to rest and was bothered by our presence. Despite this, I did try their samosas, which were good. However, I felt that the crust could have been harder as the samosas were slightly squishy. On the positive side, I appreciated that they were not oily and had a clean appearance. This gave them a homemade feel and made them appear healthier. On the other hand, the patties were disappointing. They had too much puff pastry and lacked filling. It felt like I was eating a puff pastry with no filling at all. The restaurant is usually empty, and they offer dining options on both the ground floor and the first floor. The place itself looks clean, but parking can be a challenge for four-wheelers. Additionally, they do accept online payments. Overall, Shiven's Kitchen has some positives, such as the good samosas and clean appearance. However, the lack of customer service and disappointing patties were drawbacks. It may be worth considering alternative options when dining in Margao city.
