Sharma Bhelpuri House in Vile Parle East Market is truly an iconic food destination and a landmark for chat lovers in the locality. It is popularly believed to be Sachin Tendulkar’s favourite chat place, and the walls proudly display photographs of occasions where Sharma Bhelpuri had set up counters at Sachin’s residence for Arjun Tendulkar’s birthday celebrations. This association alone tells you how special and loved this place is by generations of Parle residents. Evenings here are vibrant, with crowds lining up to enjoy their famous chat items. Their Panipuri is absolutely outstanding—crisp puris, perfectly balanced spicy-sweet water, and fresh filling. It’s no surprise that the Panipuri counter is almost always surrounded by eager customers. Other must-try items include their Dahi Puri, Sevpuri, Bhelpuri, and the very popular Radha Patties, each prepared with consistent quality and delicious taste. They do offer indoor seating, though it is somewhat limited due to their popularity. Despite the rush, service is quick, efficient, and well-managed. The hygiene and freshness they maintain while serving such fast-paced orders is genuinely commendable. My personal favourite here is the Sevpuri—bursting with flavour and incredibly satisfying. If you are anywhere near Vile Parle East Market, this place is a must-visit for some delightful, authentic chat that never disappoints. Highly recommended!
