This restaurant and Light House Hill Garden can be both really attractive for tourists. Enjoy Mughlai cuisine at Sharief Bhai Biryani Mangalore. Food delivery is a big plus of this place. Try nicely cooked nihari, spiced kebabs and chicken biryani. The truth is that you will really like good yogurt. According to the guests' opinions, waiters offer great tea.

Restaurant Review: Sharief Bhai, Mangalore Having thoroughly enjoyed my experiences at Sharief Bhai in Frazer Town, Bangalore, I was eager to visit their newly opened outlet in Mangalore. However, my visit turned out to be a major disappointment, leaving me deeply dissatisfied. Ambience & Cleanliness The restaurant's ambience was decent, though ongoing construction work was noticeable. However, the cleanliness left much to be desired. The floors were not well-maintained, and the washrooms were in an unacceptable state. Given the high standards set by the Bangalore outlet, this was a significant letdown. Food Experience Unfortunately, the food was the biggest disappointment of all. Chicken on Pathar: The dish was poorly prepared, with roughly cut chicken pieces that lacked any real flavor. The accompanying green chutney tasted stale, further diminishing the experience. Paya Soup: This was the most underwhelming dish of the meal. Instead of the rich, flavorful broth I expected, it felt like I was drinking thin tomato water mixed with excessive chili powder. Beja Fry & Chapati: The beja fry was passable but still lacked the depth of flavor I had previously enjoyed in Bangalore. However, what truly shocked me was the chapati. Instead of a freshly made, soft, warm bread, I was served a store-bought, ready-made chapati—the kind you find in provision stores, typically used by bachelors looking for a quick meal. For a restaurant that prides itself on authentic flavors, this was completely unacceptable. The fact that a high-end eatery is serving packaged chapatis instead of making fresh ones is beyond disappointing. Mutton Dum Biryani: The biggest disappointment of the meal. From the very first bite, there was a strong, unpleasant mutton smell that only intensified with each spoonful. Instead of the aromatic, well-balanced biryani I had come to love, this version was simply inedible. Drinks I ordered grape juice and nanari juice, hoping for a refreshing complement to the meal. To my dismay, both drinks were served at room temperature. When I requested ice cubes, I was shocked to hear that the restaurant didn’t have any! A well-established restaurant running out of ice cubes is simply unacceptable. Serving warm juice and failing to provide such a basic necessity reflects poorly on the management and overall service quality. Final Verdict For the price I paid, the experience was nothing short of appalling. Sharief Bhai is known for its exceptional flavors and quality, but this outlet completely failed to live up to that reputation.
