In same street 2 Shanmuga mess exists. Orignal old one was closed on Friday when I went - not sure holiday or it is closed. Review is for new one with "Sri" prefix. Looks to be new one trying to capitalise on popularity of old one. Food taste was very average. Ambience not much but knowingly I went so fine. Food taste was big disappointment. Service is another downer - eventhough it is fast but they try to push to buy more items. No egg items like omlette/scrambled/boiled. Typical business trick to make you buy chicken/fish. Ordered Chicken fry. At rs. 120 it was cheaper. But there was not even 1 single good piece - full of bones & skin. Total waste. Better to avoid. Not sure if original also is same. If like this then more hype. These days erstwhile good restaurants couldn't cope with increased business and their quality, taste & service drops. Also copy cats come to spoil it further Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2
