Many reviewers mark that you can eat tasty cheese salads, chicken tikka and sushi platter here. Try good vanilla ice cream, indian doughnuts and fruitcake. Delicious cordial, indian wine or beer will make your meal even more delicious and you'll surely come back. Great chocolate frappe, fresh juices or hot chocolate are the best drinks of Seasonal Tastes - The Westin Mumbai Garden City.
This place is well known for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. Adequate prices are what you are to pay for your meal. At this spot, guests can enjoy the pretty ambiance and terrific decor.
The previous time at WESTIN the food quality was so delicious and the variety was endless. The staff were so courteous, I felt on top of the world. This time it was no one really bothered even to dress the table after the previous guest left and to attend to us. Nor was it explained to us what was the inclusion on the Buffet Dinner. Very very poor services.
The pav bhaji tasted sweet and was not even served warm. Not expected at a five start off-course.
Food variety was there but surprisingly no much live counters, compared to what I experience during my previous visit with Chef Ajay heading the Kitchen.
What took me off was, the coffee machine was on the spread of the buffet area and we were never told it was not a part of the buffet so when we opted to take a cup of coffee, the Chief Steward/Captain, walks up to us and very un-courteously says "What are you doing, this is not on the buffet". His facial expressions were so unwelcoming. Felt to just leave at that very moment. Never have we faced such an experienced in any FIVE STAR and that to just for cup of coffee. Total devastating experience.
All in all I would say, food was there in quantity but not Quality.
WESTIN really need to rework their hospitality of else customers would refrain from visiting.
Especially the attitude of the staff, which is just not welcoming
Hope they do so to keep up the benchmark they have obtained in the industry.

Harsha
