Searock restaurant is the most decent and clean place i found in fisherman's colony. We went to a couple of other hyped places like tacos. They didnt look clean at all, but this place was much better. The live fish, lobster etc tasted good. Fish curry was not so great. Service could be quicker. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

The price of the menu is for the ambience. Don't expect great taste out of the food that is being served. Please note that the live lobsters price is never mentioned and you should ask and it starts rather arbitrarily from 3500/- for one piece. After ordering I realised the pricing was not justified. Service is reasonable and taste is just about decent Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

We visited Searock Restaurant in Mahabalipuram with our family, and it was a delightful experience. The restaurant is located right by the sea, offering stunning views that made our meal even more enjoyable. We ordered a variety of dishes including fish tawa fry, squid fry, prawns fry, crab masala, fried rice, and more – every dish was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. As we visited on a busy weekend and were a group of 8, there was a bit of a wait to get a table, but it was absolutely worth it. The ambience was lovely, with the sound of waves and the sea breeze adding to the charm. Highly recommended for all seafood lovers – this place is a must-visit if you're in Mahabalipuram!
