I recently had the pleasure of dining at Seamen’s Nest Restaurant, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. Although I had planned to take photos, the beautifully arranged setup and the warm, inviting atmosphere made me forget about my camera entirely—I was completely immersed in enjoying every bite. We ordered a generous spread that included Mussels Rawa Fry, Chonak Masala and Rawa Fry, Prawns Rawa Fry, Squid Batter Fry, Squid Masala, Fried Rice, and Chicken Masala. Every single dish was cooked to perfection—bursting with flavor, expertly seasoned, and served hot and fresh. The service was fast and efficient, and the staff were courteous and attentive throughout our meal. From the quality of the seafood to the overall presentation and service, everything exceeded expectations. There were no complaints whatsoever—just pure enjoyment. If you’re looking for delicious coastal cuisine in a relaxed and well-run setting, Seamen’s Nest is a must-visit. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Seamen's Nest stands out as one of the best restaurants in Assolna! Having dined at several places along the river, I can confidently say this one tops the list. The newly renovated space offers great river views, and while the upstairs can get hot during the summer, the afternoon lunch view is still amazing. They’ve also increased their seating capacity, making it more accommodating, though it does get quite busy, so be prepared to wait on rush days. I usually skip chicken and go straight for the seafood here, which is consistently fresh and delicious. From small fish to bigger ones, you name it, they’ve got it. My personal favorites are mussels, lepo, bombil, chonok, prawns, and the standout dish: Crab xec xec. Pair it with cheese naan or mixed seafood fried rice—honestly, it’s absolutely divine, and I keep coming back just for this combo. Even leftovers taste even better the next day with rice or bread! They also offer parking with assistance, which is a plus. However, the place can get crowded, and some of the wait staff might be a bit inattentive or rude at times. Hygiene could also use some improvement. Despite these minor drawbacks, the fantastic seafood keeps me coming back again and again! Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a top-notch seafood experience in the area!
