This restaurant offers you nice food and a place to rest after a long walk around SK Pottekkatt Cultural Centre, Calicut. Come here and try good mandi, beef and fish curry. At Savoury Restaurant, guests can have good tea.

This place is famous for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. You will like attractive prices. This spot is known for its lovely atmosphere. But this restaurant hasn't received a high rating from Google users.

We dined at the restaurant and noticed that the staff had very little knowledge about the dishes and their ingredients. Some dish names were confusing, so we asked about the ingredients, but the responses were incomplete and the staff appeared to be in a hurry to move on without properly answering our questions. The main thing is why we disliked this restaurant is: After finishing our meal, we sat at the table for around 15 minutes, as it was a heavy dinner and the restaurant was not crowded at all; many tables were empty, not closing time. However, the staff insisted that the table be cleared and that we leave quickly, even though it was not closing time. Please note that we wait for another 20 minutes apprx to get the food, that doesnt count? They also approached us at the dining table asking about payment, which felt uncomfortable and unnecessary, as payment would of course be done. They want us to leave soon after having the food. So I seriously doubt how they will treat other guests if the restaurant is busy or nearing closing time, I think they wont let the guest to enjoy the food and eat slowly.. Even after payment, when we sat briefly in the reception area sofas, we felt we were being stared at and indirectly pressured to move out quickly. We do not understand this behaviour, especially when seating is provided and the restaurant is open. Then why did you placed sofas in the reception area? Overall, this behaviour made us feel unwelcome and rushed, which is not the experience expected from a hotel of this standard.

Savoury Restaurant offers a delightful dining experience, known for its excellent food quality and humble staff. The ambiance is inviting, but the star of the show is often their creamy soups; in particular, the Tomato Cream Soup is an absolute must-try-it's rich, perfectly seasoned, and wonderfully comforting. I highly recommend visiting for a satisfying meal and a bowl of that incredible soup Service: 5

Worst restaurant experience.
1) Pathetic customer service
2) Poor food, over priced and less quantity (not value for money)
3) Poor service. Once we found our tables, Had to wait too long (half an hour) to get our orders taken.
4) No one bothered to serve water
5) After food order was placed, food was served very late (after half an hour). All this time, water was not served.
6) Pathethic and poor customer service.
Will not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Don't visit. Waste of money and waste of time
