The food ranges from okay to great. However, if they call you saying that an item is out of stock, you are better off cancelling the order than accepting a different item. Happened with me twice. The first time they offered to keep another item that cost more than what I originally paid and said that I won't have to pay the difference. But when the food came, they had charged me for the difference. The second time, they offered a different item which was cheaper than what I paid for. And no mention about the price difference when I had overpaid them.

Ordered Mac 'n Cheese Chicken at Slash cafe, but unfortunately, it fell short of my expectations. The dish lacked the creamy, thick cheese sauce that's essential to a good mac 'n cheese. Instead, it was overly reliant on melted cheese, which made it feel more like a cheesy pasta bake than a authentic mac 'n cheese. For a dish to be called mac 'n cheese, it should have a rich, velvety sauce that coats the pasta and chicken evenly. The cheese should be balanced, with a mix of sharpness and creaminess. Sadly, Slash's version didn't come close to this standard. To top it off, the price point was quite high, which made the disappointment even more frustrating. I hope the cafe takes feedback on board and revamps their recipe to create a more authentic, satisfying mac 'n cheese experience.
