I visited Slash Restaurant today and had a really enjoyable dining experience. The ambiance was pleasant and comfortable, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy a good meal. I started with their hazelnut coffee, which was absolutely delightful. It had a rich aroma and a smooth, well-balanced flavor with a distinct hazelnut note that wasn’t overpowering. The warmth and creaminess made it incredibly comforting and a perfect way to kick off the meal. Next, I ordered the chicken hummus, and this dish truly stood out. Without a doubt, it’s the best chicken hummus I’ve had in Calicut so far. The hummus was silky smooth, fresh, and packed with flavor, while the chicken was tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. The combination of textures and flavors worked beautifully together, making every bite satisfying. I also tried the beef steak. The beef itself was cooked very well — tender, juicy, and nicely done. However, the sauce didn’t quite live up to expectations and could have been richer or more flavorful to enhance the dish. That said, the fries served alongside were crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and perfectly salted, which complemented the steak nicely. Overall, it was a satisfying experience with some truly impressive dishes. I would definitely recommend visiting, especially to try their chicken hummus and hazelnut coffee. Pleasant experience at Slash Resto Cafe! The Loaded Fries were incredible—perfectly crispy and full of flavor. I paired them with a Smoothie, which was super refreshing and clearly made with fresh ingredients. Great food and a cool vibe. Definitely worth a visit!
