Good place to have some real good vegetarian authentic dishes. It's on the highway itself so it's easy to find the place and they have very good parking space available. I recently had the pleasure of dining at Salem Cafe, and it was an absolutely delightful experience! From the moment we walked in, the positive attitude of the staff made us feel right at home. They were attentive, friendly, and incredibly accommodating—especially when it came to our little ones. It’s definitely a kid-friendly place, with a welcoming atmosphere for families. Now, let’s talk about the food! The masala dosa was perfectly crispy and flavorful, with a generous filling that had just the right balance of spices. The idli was soft, fluffy, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious—exactly how it should be. The pongal was equally impressive, with a comforting texture and a wonderful blend of flavors. It’s clear that they take pride in the authenticity of their dishes. The only small critique I would offer is regarding the vada—it was good but could be a bit crispier to elevate it to perfection. However, this didn’t take away from the overall wonderful meal. One of the highlights of the experience was the convenience of parking, which is often a challenge at many restaurants, but Salem Cafe has it well-covered. It was a breeze to find a spot, which made the visit all the more enjoyable.
